Alison Braid is a writer from Summerland, BC. Her poems have been published or are forthcoming in Train: a poetry journal, Bad Nudes, Prairie Fire, Contemporary Verse 2, Room Magazine, The Puritan, Poetry Is Dead, SAD Mag, and The Maynard. Her fiction has appeared in Barren Magazine and nonfiction articles and interviews have been published in MONTECRISTO Magazine, Discorder Magazine, The Ubyssey, and PRISM international. She received her BFA in Creative Writing from the University of British Columbia, and was a 2018 participant in the Writing Studio at the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity. She lives in Prague where she is working on a novel, learning how to box, and throw pots.
