Alison Braid's first chapbook, Little Hunches (2020) was published with Anstruther Press. Her work has been published or is forthcoming in The Adroit Journal, West Branch, The New Quarterly, PRISM international, Grain Magazine, Canadian Literature, Train: a poetry journal, Bad Nudes, Prairie Fire, Contemporary Verse 2, Room Magazine, The Puritan, Poetry Is Dead, Barren Magazine, SAD Mag, and The Maynard. Nonfiction articles and interviews have been published in MONTECRISTO Magazine, Discorder Magazine, The Ubyssey, and PRISM international. She received her BFA in Creative Writing from the University of British Columbia, and was a 2018 participant in the Writing Studio at the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity. She holds an MFA in Writing from the Vermont College of Fine Arts. She reads, writes, and sews in the Okanagan Valley.
